Wellness & Walking Trail

The Bellevue Hospital Foundation dedicates The Wellness and Walking Trail to our patients and the communities we serve.  We understand the importance of being well, treating the entire person and caring for our patients as members of our family.

The Wellness and Walking Trail construction began in 2007 and opened in the Spring of 2008.  The trail and its landscaping was made possible through memorials, annual support, and individual estate gifts.  The meditation garden was a gift by Gary Hirt in honor of his wife, Karen L. Hirt.

A plaque listing all donations to the trail is in the Main Entrance Hallway of the hospital.  The Wellness and Walking Trail is also an official American Heart Associated Certified Start! Walking Path.

Everyone is invited to come out and walk on The Bellevue Hospital's Wellness and Walking Trail and start walking to a healthier life!
