TBH COVID-19 Testing Transitions Back to Main Lab

As of Monday, May 3, The Bellevue Hospital (TBH), 1400 W. Main St., Bellevue, has transitioned COVID-19 testing back to the Main Laboratory in the hospital. Hours for COVID-19 testing will return to the normal lab hours, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.  

 “We thank our community for understanding as we continue to navigate during this ever-changing pandemic,” said Timothy A. Buit, TBH’s president and chief executive officer.  

Patients needing COVID-19 testing will enter the hospital through Patient Entrance A. A physician order is required. No pre-registration or appointments required.

“Safety continues to be our goal,” said Buit. “To protect patients, visitors and employees from the spread of COVID-19, TBH has put standard precautions in place including frequent cleaning, restricting visitors, and utilizing masks and personal protective equipment (PPE).”

All other laboratory services are offered through the Main Laboratory at the hospital, 1400 W. Main St., and Family Health Services outpatient laboratory services, 402 W. McPherson Highway, Clyde. Hours at the Clyde location include 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays. Please note: No COVID-19 testing will be available at the Family Health Services location.
