TBH Cancels Meal Pick Up Service

On Friday, March 20, The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) announced that the TBH Main Station Café would begin offering carry out meals for pickup on Monday. TBH officials have decided not to begin this service and it has been suspended.

“While our hearts were in the right place and we want to be able to feed people, we decided to not offer this service. We are sorry for any inconvenience this decision causes,” ” said Patty Semer, TBH’s Vice President of Administrative Services.

According to Semer, TBH has been donating ready-made meals to Fish & Loaves Food Pantry in Bellevue for three years.

“As a way to still provide to the community in this time of need, we plan to increase the amount of meals donated and also see what their needs are so we can help fill those needs,” Semer said.
