Take Action to Prevent The Flu

Influenza and flu-associated hospitalizations are on the rise.  Stop the spread of flu by regularly washing your hands, covering your cough, and getting a flu shot, if you haven't already.  For more information about the flu, visit www.cdc.gov/flu/index.


If you have flu symptoms:

  • Call your healthcare provider. 
  • Stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone except to get medical care or other necessities.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Limit your contact with others.
