Your payment is due upon receipt of your statement. You may pay your account using cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Payment can be made in the following convenient ways:
- By mail: Please detach the bottom portion of your billing statement and include it in the envelope provided.
- By phone: We can accept a credit card payment over the telephone at 800.708.2914. Be sure to have your account number available when you call. Your account number is listed at the top of your statement.
- In person: Payment is accepted at The Bellevue Hospital's Cashier's office located near the patient entrance.
Monthly Payment Plans
If you cannot pay your balance in full, our staff can help you arrange a monthly payment plan. For those having a difficulty making monthly payments an extended payment plan may also be an option. The Bellevue Hospital does not charge interest, so the extended terms that we offer are necessarily limited.
If you wish to set up automatic monthly payments by credit card, our patient financial counselors can explain our convenient payment options and assist you with setting up the process. To set up a payment plan you can contact a customer service representative by calling 800.708.2914 or Patient Financial Services.
The Bellevue Hospital offers additional assistance for patients with limited resources and insufficient insurance coverage. Patients may be eligible for payment assistance under one of our financial assistance programs.

For patients who are uninsured, we offer a discount on services. This "Uninsured Discount" applies only to patients who have no health insurance at the time of treatment; it does not apply to balances remaining after insurance payment or for certain excluded services.
