Due to COVID-19, our MOMS Breastfeeding Support Group has been temporarily suspended. However, our Family Birthing Center is still here to help! Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Certified Lactation Counselors can provide one-on-one support, education and resources to all lactating and breastfeeding women in the community. Please call 419.483.4040, Ext. 4295 for more information.
The Bellevue Hospital offers a free breastfeeding support group that works in conjunction with the Sandusky County Breastfeeding Coalition and Sandusky County WIC Program. M.O.M.S. (Mothers Offering Mutual Support) offers a friendly, non-judgmental and supportive environment that encourages and supports a new mother's choice to breastfeed her child. Mothers, new babies and toddlers are welcome to join the discussion on topics such as nursing issues, adjustment issues and social media issues.
The support group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in The Bellevue Hospital's second floor conference room.
