Benefits for You and Your Family

The Bellevue Hospital offers additional programs to help out when you need additional resources.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Available at no cost to all full-time team members.  For those paid on an hourly basis, you will receive one times your annual salary in both life and AD&D coverage.  For those paid on a salaried basis, you will receive two times your annual salary in both life and AD&D coverage.

Short Term Disability

Available at no cost to all full-time team members.  Short term disability can start as soon as six weeks after the onset of a disability and can last for up to 20 weeks.

Long Term Disability

Available at no cost to all-full time team members, this benefit can begin after six months of disability.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP is for all team members and their immediate family members when life throws a curve ball.  This completely free and confidential benefit allows you to talk with a specialized counselor to help you deal with life's issues.

Voluntary Insurance Programs

Universal Life, Accident Plan, Critical Illness and Cancer Plan, Disability, Identity Theft, Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Plans.  Many of these plans may also be elected for your spouse and children.  Premiums are withheld from your biweekly paycheck.

Sick Child Program

Under certain circumstances, you may have your sick child stay under the watchful eye of our Med/Surg team members, so that you are able to work your shift without worry.

Discount Programs

TBH team members receive discounts at local businesses by presenting your ID badge.  We also offer a program that provides discounts on hotels, movie tickets, concert tickets and more!

The Robert Regula Children's Scholarship Program

Your children's accomplishments are important too!  TBH awards up to ten $1,500 scholarships each year to children of TBH team members who have worked at least two consecutive years at the hospital.  Eligible children are to be enrolled in post high school academic programs, with a minimum of three of the scholarships reserved for students in healthcare-related fields of study.
