Honors for Employees and Medical Staff

at The Bellevue Hospital

May 5,  2005  --


The Bellevue Hospital recognized 72 employees, 13 medical staff members, 14 honored guests, and one retiree for their service at the hospital, during the annual Service Awards Banquet on April 28.

Michael K. Winthrop, president and CEO of The Bellevue Hospital, recognized the individuals, representing a total of 1,607 years of providing healthcare services, “of providing the quality of care expected from the communities we serve.”


Continued Winthrop, “This past year has been an amazing time and a historical journey for every member of The Bellevue Hospital Family. After years of planning, we have successfully moved into our new hospital and have been setting records for the number of patients coming to us for care. One of the reasons for our success is certainly our new facility, but the primary reason our patients return, is due to the caring, concern and dedication of our employees and medical staff.”


Employees receiving five-year service awards were:

Patty Adams, Leigh Ann Aigler, Hollie Alda, Roseann Alexander, Ryan Alley, Maggie Andrews, Cheryl Bledsoe, Patty Bordner, Brenda Carbary, Mary Chappell, Christina Dezanett, Suzanne Fay, Darlene George, Doris Hemminger, J. Denise Hollenbaugh, Jessica Holzwart, Loveeta Johnson, Linda Kutz, Elizabeth Martin, Sue Mathews, Suzanne Minter, Linda Newkirk, Darlene Ouellette, Melodie Platt, Lisa Pugh, Amy Rhoades, Vickie Seliga, Marilyn Sieger, Kari Stewart, Kelli Williamson, Jackie Wooten, and Melissa Zonker.


Receiving awards for ten-years of service: Lisa Aichholz, Anne Bilger, Lisa Crokie, Pat Cook, Rita Cruz, Amy Deel, Gretchen Franklin, Diane Goebel, Michelle Michaels, Liza Mize, Roberta Slauterbeck, JoAnn Smith, and Fay Wade.


Recognized for fifteen years of service: Jackie Bartlett, Ruth Benfer, Dawn Bova, Denise Bullion, Laurie Daniel, Dorene Frost, Yvonne Haar, Denise Heiser-Bowerman, Beverly Lepley, Suzanne McGinnis, Valerie Reesman, Becky Rohrbach, Marc Schoen, and Martie Weidinger.

 

 


Honored for twenty years of service: Kathy Aldrich, Pat L. Gardner (not pictured), Linda VanDyke, Kim Stults, Amy White, Sue O’Lynn, and Marianne Schoen.


 

Honored for twenty-five years of service: Cathy Ackerman and Julie Jarrett.

Finally, Marjorie Solander was honored for 55 years of service.


Honored guests were: Margaret Kaufman, 44 years; Bernie Bertsch, 40 years; Kathy Polley, 39 years; Shirley Sylvester, 38 years; Judy Kelble, 37 years; Janet Veith, 37 years; Rosann Hasselbach, 36 years; Jeanette Aderholt, 34 years; Beverly Wright, 34 years; Eileen Hay, 33 years; Mary Ann Guenther, 32 years; Valerie Magyar, 32 years; Charlotte Waskielis, 32 years; and David Vogel, 31 years.


Shirley Hofelich was honored as a retiree with 26 years of service.


Medical staff recognitions included:

Dr. Elbert Lawrence, 30 years;

Dr. Chris Pensiero, 25 years;

Dr. Mark Smith, 20 years; Dr. Kim Knight, 20 years;

Dr. Frank Komorowski, 15 years; Dr. Ed Hemeyer, 15 years; Dr. Ben Ball, 15 years;

and Dr. Joseph Carver, Dr. Amy Alt-Coan, Dr. Rugen Alda, Dr. Michelle Ralofsky, and Dr. Lou Ralofsky, each with five years of service.
