Ridge Elementary Readers:

Celebration of Reading with our School Business Partner

June 3, 2004

Ridge Elementary School second grader Christian Crump, left, and sixth grader Colin Jarvis, right, were the winners of two new bicycles donated by The Bellevue Hospital, in a random drawing held on the last day of school, June 3.

The prizes were given for the Ridge Accelerated Reader Program contest.

All students participating in the program during the school year had their names entered into the drawing.


Presenting the bicycles is Alan Ganci, vice president and chief financial officer at The Bellevue Hospital, which is a business partner with Ridge Elementary School.

The boys also received bicycle helmets and battery-powered bicycle lights.
