New Ophthalmology Services Offered at TBH

Dr. Brown Joins The Bellevue Hospital Staff

October 13, 2003  --

The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) is pleased to announce that

Ronald N. Brown Jr., M.D.,

has joined the hospital’s courtesy staff as a board certified

ophthalmologist (diseases and surgery of the eye).

He specializes in cataract and refractive (laser eye) surgery,

and will have regular surgical hours on the second and

fourth Mondays of each month at TBH.

Since 1995, he has been affiliated with The Eye Center of Toledo, OH,
where he is the director of refractive surgery.

Dr. Brown received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1990.

His post-graduate experience included an internship at the William Beaumont Hospital

in Royal Oak, Mich., and an ophthalmology residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute,

UCLA School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, Los Angeles, Calif.

He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology

 and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery,

 the American Academy of Ophthalmology,

 the Ohio State Medical Association,

and the Academy of Medicine of Toledo and Lucas County.

A resident of Toledo, Dr. Brown and his wife, Jennell, are parents of three children, twins Rebecca and Rachel (5), and Sarah (21 months).

Dr. Brown’s Bellevue office is located at 521 N. Sandusky St., in the former Whitely’s Grocery Store Building.
Appointments with Dr. Brown are made by referral only from a patient’s family optometrist or physician.
