The Bellevue Hospital Honors Employees and Medical StaffTwenty-third Annual Service Awards BanquetJune 17, 2003 --
(BELLEVUE, Ohio) - The Bellevue Hospital recognized 56 employees, four medical staff members, and 14 honored guests for their years of service at the hospital, during the 23rd Annual Service Awards Banquet on May 29. Michael K. Winthrop, president of The Bellevue Hospital, recognized the individuals, representing a total of 1,259 years of providing healthcare services, “whose accomplishments and continuing commitment to the hospital helps to maintain our strong tradition of caring and service excellence. “These individuals are representatives of the technical skills, professional care and heartfelt compassion that truly makes The Bellevue Hospital - The Right Choice.” Employees receiving five-year service awards were: Sara Brandt, Ken Cleary, Brian Decker, Christine Fegley, Maryle Greene, Shannon Hansen, Margaret Kirby, Linda Lerch, Jill Liskai, Kenneth Majors, Annette Marett, Kathy Mays, Christy Miller, Kara Seamon, Brenda Shoup, Joanne Steinmetz, Lauren Turner, Cara Vickery, Beth Weber, and Stacy Zieber. Receiving awards for ten-years of service: Molly Brubaker, Laura Collier, Alan Ganci, Elaine Gittinger, Denise Keegan, Jacquelyn Klepper, Daniel Kramer, Amy Lombardi, Lora Malfara, David Oglesbee, Deborah O’Toole, Barbara Swartz, and Kristopher Vickery. Recognized for fifteen years of service: Sharon Fuchs, Teresa Hartley, Fawn Jarrett-Doerner, Susan Kistler, Bette Mapus, Diana Missler, Elyse Ramon, Holly Spero, Debra Sharpe, Jackie Shelley, Aleta Sieger, Tina Smith, Diana Tuttmore, and Michael Winthrop. Honored for twenty years of service: Andreae Gehring and Stephen Vogel. Honored for twenty-five years of service: Karen Branco, Shirley Hofelich, and Jane Riffle. Finally, Valerie Magyar and Charlotte Waskielis were honored for 30 years of service, and Judy Kelble and Janet Veith were honored for 35 years of service. Honored guests were: Ruth Benfer, 55 years; Marge Solander, 53 years; Peg Kaufman, 44 years; Kathy Polley, 39 years; Shirley Sylvester, 36 years; Anna Hasselbach, 34 years; Beverly Wright, 32 years; Jeanette Aderholt, 32 years; Eileen Hay, 31 years; Bernie Bertsch, retired, 40 years; Mary Ann Guenther, retired, 32 years; David Vogel, retired, 31 years; Nancy Smetzer, retired, 17 years; and Betty Dempsey, retired, 13 years. Medical staff recognitions included: Dr. Ted Ball, 40 years; Dr. William Bauer, 20 years; Dr. Richard Kendall, 10 years; and Dr. Michael Nill, five years. |
