All birth and death records are maintained in the
county where the birth or death occurs.
The cost for a copy of a certified birth or death
certificate is $25.00.
Due to a change in Ohio law only certified
copies of birth and death certificates can
be issued.
To obtain a copy of a certified birth or death
record you may print and complete the attached
application
along with a self addressed stamped
envelope and a check or money order
made payable to the Huron County General Health
District.

between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
A credit card is necessary to order by phone.
