BREASTFEEDING BASICS
The Family Birthing Center of The Bellevue Hospital
presents a class to answer expectant mothers’ questions
on the nutritional benefits and techniques of
breastfeeding. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 6-8
p.m. Classes meet in Conference Rooms A&B at the
hospital and class fee is $10.
The schedule for 2013: Feb. 13, May 22, Aug. 7, and Dec.
11.
The importance of good nutrition for the baby and mother
will be discussed. Other topics include the motivation
to nurse, correct positioning techniques, possible
nursing problems and solutions, and how to return to
work while nursing.
