5K Walk, Run & Fun!!!

The Bellevue Hospital, along with The Bellevue *Rec Club, and The Bellevue Eagles, Aerie #490  are hosting its Second 5K Walk, Run & Fun on Saturday, June 28, 2003.

The race will be supervised by the Firelands Area Runners Club.

The times of the Kids Fun Run is 10 am and the 5K Walk and Run will begin at 10:30am.

The location for the 5K Walk, Run & Fun will be in the City parking lot, next to the Eagles Club in downtown Bellevue, corner of US 20 & North Sandusky Street.  There is lots of convenient parking at the Bellevue Junior High School.

The course winds through flat, shaded residential streets.  All events start and finish at the new city parking lot.

Age groups at 5K: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-24, 35-40, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 and over.  The one mile Kids Run is for kids 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10 & 11-12.

Water stops will be available throughout the course.  Fresh fruit will be available after the race.

Each run will award overall male and female, first overall male & female Bellevue resident, plus top 3 finishers in each age group.  Award to top 5 walkers.

There will be a drawing for a child and an adult Mountain Bike and other great door prizes will be given away after the race - all donated by the Eagle's Athletic Fund.

The cost for the race before June 21, with a T-Shirt is $12 and without a T-Shirt is $7.  On the Day of the Race, June 28th, the cost with a T-Shirt is $15 and without a T-Shirt is $10.

Additional dinner tickets will be $2.50 than you can pick up on the day of the race for your choice of hamburger, hot dog or chicken.

The entry fee also include a free BBQ chicken inner for adults and hamburgers or hot dogs for the children.
