"It is a lot of work for everyone involved. JoAnn
(Ventura) and I would like to thank the participants,
contributors, and volunteers who make the outing a
success," said Kathy Scheid, co-chairperson. "All of our
jobs are made easier because of the efforts of Tom and
Joanne Crockett and their staff at Green Hills, making
sure that the course is in great shape and that everyone
had a good time."
"This was the 12th year that Kathy and I have been in
charge of the golf outing and with today’s totals, over
$208,000 has been contributed to the Auxiliary over that
time frame to support our hospital, community members, and
most importantly, our patients," added Ventura.
The 144 golfers started the day by taking part in putting
and chipping contests, and practicing at the driving
range. The shotgun start then sent the golfers on their
way for the field prizes and hole-in-one competitions.

"19th" refreshment hole, winners of the open and mixed
